Staff turnover at LSE has historically been very low. The Maryland Department of Aging recognized LSE for having the third highest percentage of workers over age 55 on the Lower Shore. The department's 2002 Employer of the Year Award testifies to the humbling nature of service to workers with disabilities. No matter how great the challenges of any day may be to the staff, the challenges pale in comparison to those faced -- and overcome -- by our workers.
