Inside Works
LSE started in 1967 as Lower Shore Sheltered Workshop. It changed its name to LSE in part so that workers would not suffer a stigma associated with sheltered workshops. Today more employers appreciate the value of workers with disabilities, and LSE's name and the close relationships it fosters with employers help workers hunt for jobs.
