Andrew Whitehead
Andrew A. Whitehead is an attorney practicing in Maryland and Delaware. Andrew, a Salisbury Native, is a graduate of Worcester Preparatory School in Berlin, Maryland. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Salisbury University in 1994 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2003.
After serving as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Daniel M. Long in the Circuit Court for Somerset County, Mr. Whitehead began his career as an attorney for the Office of the Office of the Public Defender for Wicomico and Worcester Counties. He served as an associate attorney at the Law Firm of Caldwell and Whitehead, P.A. He has also served as an Assistant State's Attorney for Dorchester County and a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Delaware.
In April, 2010, he opened the Law Office of Andrew A. Whitehead, LLC in Delmar, Delaware. His areas of practice include personal injury litigation, bankruptcy, creditor's rights, foreclosure and collections. He also serves as an Assistant State's Attorney for Somerset County, Maryland.
Mr. Whitehead resides in Salisbury with his wife, Lara and son, A.J., who is a child of Autism. Andrew is committed to helping his son, and others like him, lead happy and productive lives. Mr. Whitehead served on the Wicomico County Special Education Citizens Advisory Committee, and served on a subcommittee to revise that organizations by-laws.
Matt Drew
Mr. Drew is a mechanical engineer who started with AWB ( Andrew Booth) in January 2001 as a Senior Project Engineer. He is a professional engineer and is currently licensed in the states of Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. His areas of focus include site design, HVAC systems, plumbing and piping design for building, manufacturing systems layout, and project management.
He was previously employed for eight years as the plant engineer for VPI Mirrex in Salisbury. He has had over 17 years experience working as a plant and machinery design engineer for such manufacturing industries as General Motors, Sherwin Williams, and Solo Cup Corporation.
Mr. Drew holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a Machinery Design Specialty from Kettering University (formerly GMI Engineering & Management Institute.) He is a Registered Professional Engineer license and is a member for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Mr. Drew has been a principal in the firm since 2003 and became a major stock holder in 2005. He holds the position of Executive Vice President in the firm.
Mr. Drew lives in Salisbury with his wife Melissa and daughters Ellen and Anna. He has been an active member of the community since moving here in 1989. He is an active member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and the Wicomico County School Board Building Committee. He worked to construct Ben’s Red Swings Playground at the Salisbury Zoo, and continues helping by coordinating maintenance projects. He is an avid cyclist and runner.
Ken Smith
Kenneth J. Smith is the TGM Group Professor of Accounting and Chairman of the Department of Accounting and Legal Studies at Salisbury University. He has a doctoral degree in business administration with a major in accountancy from George Washington University. Dr. Smith’s professional credentials include Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified in Financial Management, and a Certificate in Management Accounting. He has authored over 80 peer reviewed publications and has presented his research at regional, national, and international conferences. Dr. Smith has received multiple teaching awards including the Frank Blacklock award for Outstanding Maryland Accounting Educator. His hobbies include bodybuilding and nutrition, bicycling, motorcycling, reading, and music.
Bevereley Stoakley
A native of Greensboro, North Carolina. Worked on the family farms until relocating to Salisbury, Maryland in the early 70’s. Alumni of Guilford College in Greensboro, North Carolina. Married. One son. Retired in 1999 from local county government after more than 25 years of service in administrative positions. Accepted the position of Lifeline Program Manager with Peninsula Regional Medical Center in January of 2000. Since being in this position, the Medical Center’s 24-hour personal emergency monitoring service has grown from (68) subscribers to (1,200) subscribers. Recipient of (7) consecutive Outstanding Performance Achievement Academy Awards (2003 – 2009) ranking our program in the top 1% of the over 3,000 programs in the nation.
